I also made some live VJ sort of sessions both in Krakow and in Warsaw, I mainly mixed from old stuff – I never could use or finish – and a couple of quickly made ’youtube style keyboardcat’ animations. In Warsaw we did a short session over young poets reading their poems in front of an audience, I really enjoyed that improvised quality of this task, and looking forward to do some more.

Having fun in Poland nr1

The last three weeks were quite busy here in Poland. First of all, we organized Literoterapia (Letter-therapy) in Krakow then it was invited to Warsaw to an art festival, and it seems that we continue the project in Katowice.

The idea was to have some happening during an event which involve the people to create something together, and document it. We created a Polish abc on wooden boards, it looks as a set of toys actually but really fun/and intellectual sometimes to play with. So as you can guess, people were wandering around hunting for missing letters or making up new words, so it turned out it was even somehow socializing. Some rough pictures from the 2 events can be found here, we hope to continue it and tha having an exhibition from the texts sometime. I also think it is a typographic project ;)
